Dashboard FAQs
What do “With Me”, “With Clients”, and “Approved” mean?
These are album workflow states. With Me means you are still working on the album. With Clients means the album is shared and waiting for client feedback. Approved means the album is finalized.
How do I create a new album from the dashboard?
Click “Add Album”, in the top left of the navigation, then enter album username, password, and client email. You must also choose an upload type: Spreads (two-page layouts) or Pages (single-page files).
What is the difference between Spreads and Pages?
Spreads are best for two-page designs and print-style proofs. Pages are best for single-page exports. Choose the one that matches how you exported your files.
Can I choose upload type later?
Upload type is set when the album is created, so choose carefully at setup. The rest of the album workflow follows that choice.
What file types are supported for uploads
JPG, JPEG, and PNG.
What image size is recommended?
For best quality, use larger source files. Typical guidance is around 1600px minimum width for Spreads and around 800px minimum width for Pages.
Why don’t I see all albums in the dashboard table?
The dashboard focuses on your active priority queue and quick actions. Use the albums list route to view the full working set.
Album FAQs
How do I add more files to an existing album?
Open the album and use Add Spreads in the album toolbar above the album to upload additional images.
Can I re-upload one file without replacing everything?
Yes. Use the per-item re-upload action for a single spread/page
What happens if I re-upload the entire album?
Full re-upload replaces existing spreads/pages and removes existing comments tied to those previous files. Use this only when you want a full reset.
Is there a limit on how many files I can upload at once?
Batch uploads are supported, with practical UI limits in place for large batches. If you have a very large set, upload in manageable groups for smoother processing.
Can I reorder spreads/pages after upload?
Yes. You can reorder items in the album view so the proof sequence matches your intended presentation.
Can I filter to only files with comments?
Yes. Use filtering options in the album toolbar to focus on commented items for faster revision rounds.
Why does a file look blurry or too small?
This usually means the source export resolution is too low. Re-upload a higher-resolution version using the same item slot.
Can I upload PDFs, PSDs, or AI files directly?
No. Convert/export to JPG or PNG first, then upload.
Settings FAQs
What branding options are available?
Branding includes:
- Logo icon upload (square format, recommended 125×125)
- Login background image upload
- Background color selection
- Font color selection
- Live preview of branding changes
Can I remove my logo or background image later?
Yes. You can delete either asset directly in Branding and save again.
Do branding changes affect existing albums?
Branding settings mainly affect your branded experience (for example login and visual theme elements). Album content files and comments are not replaced by branding changes.
Is custom domain setup available in Settings?
Branding in Settings focuses on logo, background image, and colors. If domain controls are not visible in your current UI, that part may be plan- or rollout-dependent.
What is in Email Template settings?
You can define default outbound album email subject/body and use placeholders such as username and password tokens for automatic insertion.
What are Default Due Dates and Reminders?
This section sets your default timing rules for due dates and reminder behavior so new albums start with consistent client communication timing.
What happens if I navigate away with unsaved changes?
Settings uses unsaved-change protection. You will be prompted to save, discard, or cancel navigation to prevent accidental data loss.
Can I safely experiment with branding colors?
Yes. Use the preview panel to test combinations, then save when the look is right.
